Alto car coming from Chhumra to Tyuni fell into a ditch, 3 died, 3 injured

Uttarakhand. Today (date 12/10/24) information was received through the control room at Thana Tyuni that an Alto car coming from Chhumra to Tyuni has fallen about 100 meters below the road near Raigi temple. On receiving the information, the police force from the police station immediately reached the spot and found that an Alto car number: UK-07-DD-5541 had fallen into a ditch about 100 meters below the main road. The police team along with the local people immediately carried out a rescue operation and took out 06 persons from the car and rushed them to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment, where 03 injured were declared dead by the doctors.

The remaining 03 injured were referred to a higher center after primary treatment. The proceedings of Panchayatnama / Postmortem of the deceased are being done. Prima facie, the accident appeared to have occurred due to the car driver losing control of the vehicle, a detailed investigation of the causes of the accident is being done.
