A special committee was formed for innovation in UPCL

Uttarakhand. (21 September, 2024) Assimilating the basic mantra of Hon’ble Chief Minister, a special committee was formed in UPCL in which senior officials from various sections have been nominated. The objective of this committee is to emphasize on positive aspects by discussing important topics like technical progress in the energy distribution sector, promoting innovations, operational efficiency and improvement in consumer services and outage management.

In this sequence, the first meeting of the committee was held today on 21 September, 2024 at UPCL headquarters in which the officers shared their views and in the meeting, mainly the points of establishing an effective control system to face the current challenges of UPCL were discussed and all the officers agreed that the next meeting of the committee will be held in the first week of next month.

The meeting was attended by N.K. Kandpal, General Manager (Finance), Mandeep Rana, Superintending Engineer (Commercial), Gaurav Sharma, Superintending Engineer (Rural), Dehradun, V.S. Panwar, Superintending Engineer (Contract & Purchase-I), Superintending Engineer (Contract & Purchase-II), Anil Kumar Dhiman, Superintending Engineer (RAPDRP, Part-A), Vikas Gupta, Superintending Engineer (Informatics, SCADA & ERP), Mohit Dabral, Superintending Engineer (Material Management), Sudhir Kumar Singh, Executive Engineer (Editor) Managing Director, Mohan Mittal, Executive Engineer (Editor) & Pankaj Sharma, Staff Officer-I (Editor) Managing Director and Shubham Kandwal, Staff Officer-II (Editor) Managing Director.
