Congress General Secretary’s public interaction in Dharampur

Dehradun (9 September 2024). Under the ongoing Jan Samarthan program of Jan Samvad under the leadership of Congress General Secretary Naveen Joshi, a meeting of local workers was organized today in Wave City of Dharampur Assembly Constituency. In which the speakers appealed to the local people for massive support in favor of the Congress Party in the upcoming Municipal Corporation Mayor elections.

Addressing the meeting, Congress State General Secretary Naveen Joshi said that at present the situation of Dehradun metropolis has become very bad. BJP has completely ignored the public problems in its last tenure. The work of Smart City is half-finished, the general public is yearning for basic facilities.

The roads have turned into potholes and dirty sewer water is entering people’s homes and there is a danger of serious diseases in the coming time. Today the life of the common man of Dehradun metropolis has become miserable.

Naveen Joshi, while placing the policies of the Congress Party in front of the general public, appealed to the public to support them in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections and assured immediate redressal of public problems on behalf of the Congress Party. He said that during the rule of Congress party, a network of roads was laid in Dehradun city, work was done on public welfare schemes but ever since BJP has taken over the reins of the city corporation, the condition of the city is bad.

He said that in the coming elections, after the formation of Mayor and Corporation Board, the problems of the public will be solved on priority. That Dehradun city will be made a smart city in true sense. He appealed to the regional people to join Congress.

On this occasion, many Congressmen and regional dignitaries including Alok Mehta, Amar Mehta, State Spokesperson Ashish Nautiyal, Anil Negi etc. were present.
