The closed roads of the state will open soon

Dehradun. Work is being done at a fast pace to open the closed roads in Uttarakhand. On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Disaster Management Secretary is constantly reviewing the closed roads through video conferencing with the administrative officers and PWD engineers of all the districts. Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman said that 68 roads are closed across the state. These roads will be made operational for traffic soon. Special attention will be given to the roads which will take more time to open and their report will be submitted to the Chief Minister.

Instructions have also been given for punitive action in case of negligence in making the roads operational for traffic. The Chardham Yatra route is smooth. The movement of passengers is continuing. Budget has been made available to distribute relief amount to the Budha Kedar Ghansali disaster affected. Necessary instructions have been given to the District Officer. The Chief Minister’s intention is to provide relief to the people in the disaster affected areas as soon as possible and restore all the routes.
