If Congress’s mayor is elected then Smart City construction works will be inspected: Joshi

Dehradun. (30 September) Congress General Secretary Naveen Joshi today toured the Kaulagarh area of Cantt Assembly constituency under the Jan Samarthan program being run in view of the Mayor elections and contacted the general public and appealed for support in favor of the Congress Party in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.

Naveen Joshi put forward the vision of the Congress Party before the general public and assured immediate solution of public problems on behalf of the Congress Party. He said that if the Mayor and Board of the Congress Party are formed, the problems of the public will be solved on priority. He also said that the construction work done in the name of Smart City will be investigated and action will be taken against the culprits.

He also informed that till now Congress workers have contacted the general public in many areas of Dehradun Municipal Corporation and everywhere the public is troubled by the rule of BJP. He said that today there is no area in the metropolis where the basic facilities are in good condition. In the name of Smart City, the entire Dehradun is dug up, accidents are happening every day on the broken roads but the government is sleeping with oil in its ears. Overall, the people of the metropolis are facing a lot of problems due to the mismanagement of the BJP government.

Naveen Joshi appealed to the people of the area to support the Congress party in the upcoming municipal elections so that their problems can be solved. On this occasion, many Congressmen including Pia Thapa, Anil Basnet, Rajendra Dhawan, Pradeep Doval, State Spokesperson Ashish Nautiyal, Giriraj Hindwan, Suraj etc. were present.
