Nainital. An Ayurvedic awareness program was organized by Dr. Renu Arya (Medical Officer, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, High Court, Nainital) under the aegis of AYUSH and AYUSH Education Department, Uttarakhand Nainital, at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Takula, about 7 km from the lake city of Nainital. In which Dr. Renu Arya told how we should pay attention to the activities from waking up in the morning to sleeping in the evening in the daily routine. Full attention should be paid to Pranayama and food behavior and seasonal fruits and vegetables should be consumed in abundance.

The school boys and girls as well as teachers and parents participated in the program. Dr. Renu provided important information about daily routine, Ritucharya, Viruddha Aahar Veg, Yoga. Along with this, the health of school children was examined and they were told the special qualities of paying attention to their health. To make students and parents aware, Dr. Renu distributed books and posters and to make students understand Ayurveda better, Dr. Renu demonstrated videography to make children aware.

In which a lot of information was provided to get rid of problems like lack of appetite, sleeplessness, feeling tired etc. in children. In the end, the Principal of the school, Nirmal Pandey, while thanking Dr. Renu, told how yoga is done every day in the school. And students are made to meditate to stay mentally healthy.

Deepa Bisht, Haris Singh Bisht, Rekha Bhatt, Deepika Galakoti, Himani Arya, Lakshmi Joshi, Priyanka Arya and other staff of the school along with local parents were present in this program.
