Dehradun. In view of the upcoming municipal elections, under the Jan Samvad se Jan Samarthan program being run under the leadership of Congress General Secretary and former Minister of State Naveen Joshi, today Congress workers in the Lakkad Mandi area of Dharampur Assembly contacted the public under the leadership of Naveen Joshi and appealed to vote in support of the Congress party in the upcoming municipal elections.

On this occasion, in meetings held at various places, Naveen Joshi assured the public that with the formation of the Congress party board in the municipal corporation and the victory of the mayor candidate, Dehradun will develop in all aspects. The BJP has stopped all development works and they do not intend to hold elections because they know that they are losing badly, so they want to postpone the elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has always lied and did not take the problems of the city seriously. It used the slum dwellers only for votes and left them to their fate. We are committed to the immediate solution of public problems. The promises made to the public will be fulfilled.

He also referred to the problems being faced by the public due to the failures of the Municipal Corporation in the last 5 years. He said that the previous Municipal Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party did not do any work other than scams which would benefit the public and the common man. He said that in the last tenure, only scams and misappropriation of public money continued in the metropolis and the common people did not get any facilities.

Naveen Joshi appealed to the people of the area to support the Congress Party in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections for the overall development of the Dehradun metropolis. So that proper development of Dehradun can be done.

On this occasion, many Congress people including State Spokesperson Ashish Nautiyal, Aqeel Ahmed Chand Mohammad Virendra Singh Bisht Dheeraj Shahi Naseem Giriraj Hindwan etc. were present.
