Sharda Barrage took a fierce form…alert issued

Dehradun. Red alert issued on Sharda Barrage connecting India Nepal border. Movement of both the countries on the barrage has been banned.

 

 

Due to continuous heavy rains from mountains to plains for two days, Sharda river is in spate due to which the British era Banbasa Barrage bridge is seen flowing in its fierce form.

Lakhs of cusecs of water is being drained by the canal department.
