The forest department team rescued the leopard trapped in the house

 Pauri. Uttrakhand (10 September 2024) The forest department team finally rescued the leopard trapped in the ruined house of Kathud village in a cage after a lot of hard work.

These days the terror of leopards is not reducing in rural areas, the latest case is of Kathud village where a leopard entered the ruined house late in the evening, seeing which the villagers immediately informed the forest department about it. Villager Alok Charu told that these days leopards were constantly seen around his village.

The complaint of which had already been given to the department by the villagers, while the forest department team reached the spot and captured the leopard in a cage at around 1:30 in the night. Garhwal DFO Swapnil Anirudh said that such ruined houses and bushes in rural areas have become the abode of leopards, which makes it easy for the leopard to hide, at present the leopard has been rescued and brought to Nagdev Range where medical training of the leopard will be done.
