With the special efforts of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the operation of Haridwar Medical College is going to start soon. It was told that 100 medical seats have been allotted for the medical college. The state government is committed to develop health facilities in Uttarakhand. After the establishment of Government Medical College in Dehradun, Srinagar, Haldwani, now a medical college is going to be operated in Haridwar as well. In fact, despite being a plain district, there was a shortage of doctors in Haridwar. In such a situation, with the special efforts of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, the construction work of medical college started in Haridwar. With the special efforts of Health Secretary Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, its building was completed in a short time. Last month, the NMC team inspected Haridwar Medical College in which some deficiencies were pointed out, which were later removed. Now it is being told that 100 MBBS seats have been approved in the initial phase for Haridwar Medical College.
The construction of this college will benefit the population of millions of Haridwar district. Actually, the population of this district had to depend on Rishikesh AIIMS and various hospitals of Dehradun for health services, but the construction of a medical college will provide great relief to the people here in the coming days.
Our government is continuously working to improve the health services of the state. We want to make medical services accessible in the plain districts along with the hilly districts. The construction of Haridwar Medical College has been completed rapidly. Certainly, in the future, people will get great benefit from the opening of this hospital. They will be able to get medical services by staying there.
