Ritu Khanduri Bhushan expressed displeasure over the electricity department not removing the pole

Kotdwar. (20 September 202) Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker Vidhan Sabha expressed her deep displeasure with the Electricity Department Kotdwar for not taking timely action to shift the electricity poles which were obstructing the roadside under Kotdwar Vidhan Sabha and has ordered to remove them immediately.

Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the local public, Ritu Khanduri said that earlier also the Electricity Department was informed about this matter through a letter, on which no action has been taken till now. The Assembly Speaker has reprimanded the Electricity Department Kotdwar and has given strict orders that all the electricity poles should be removed from the National Highway between Kaudiya to Jhanda Chowk and Jhanda Chowk to Buddha Park as soon as possible.

It is known that due to this, many times the problem of severe jam arises in the city, which hinders the traffic. In the case of jam, there is additional pressure on the police administration along with the general public.
