The matter is of Dehradun… where there were complaints of over-rating of liquor… when the complaint reached District Magistrate Savin Bansal… then he made a plan… The DM of the capital Dehradun himself drove himself as a customer and reached the liquor shop located at Old Mussoorie Road, Rajpur, Dehradun on Friday… He bought a bottle of liquor at the liquor shop posing as a customer…. the salesman of the shop sold the bottle worth Rs. 660 to the District Magistrate for Rs. 680…. after which the team of the Excise Officer reached the spot and a challan of Rs. 50,000 was issued to the concerned shop. After this incident, there is panic in the shops with over-rating.
