Kotdwar. (13 September 2024) Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan reached Kotdwar and inspected the temporary post located at Kaudiya check post. The Speaker of the Assembly asked to make arrangements for smooth checking of vehicles coming to Kotdwar as it is adjacent to Uttar Pradesh. Also asked for verification campaign in the entire Kotdwar and to repair the damaged roof of the post.
He said that Kaudiya check is a very important place from the security point of view where thousands of vehicles coming from other states enter Uttarakhand Garhwal every day, hence there should be proper police arrangement and proper monitoring of cameras here.
