Worship of God with Brahma Kamal in Leeti village of Bageshwar

Bageshwar. After three years, the program of worship of Maa Bhagwati is being organized in the form of Satu Aathu fair in Leeti village under Vichla Danpur. According to the tradition of the villagers, before the deity’s incarnation, there is a tradition of going to Nanda Kund and worshiping and bringing Brahma Kamal.

Following the tradition, a group of 21 people including Dhami, Moor, Jatairo of Bhagwati temple has returned with Brahma Kamal from Nanda Kund. On reaching Latu Paud, Dev Dangriya was also given a grand welcome by the local villagers.

The Brahma Kamals brought from Nanda Kund were tied by Dev Dangriya to the sticks of ringal and dancing in traditional attire while praising the God, they reached Bhagwati temple of Leeti. The Dev Stuti dance of the villagers after tying Brahma Kamal in the ringal won everyone’s heart. Brahma Kamal will be distributed to the devotees in the form of Prasad.
